Happy World Rhino Day // Button: Help Protect Rhinos >>

This is a very important day for our endangered species. Rhinos have faced immense violence at the hands of humans and desperately need our help.

Estimates show only 27,000 rhinos are still alive today.
Help us protect this amazing animal before it’s TOO LATE.

There are five different species of rhinos: White rhinos, Black rhinos, Javan rhinos, Sumatran rhinos, and Greater One-Horned rhinos. As a whole, people have wrought havoc on rhino populations with some subspecies being affected more severely than others (there are only two Northern White rhinos left in the world)!

Humans are at fault for much of the hardship facing rhinos.

Rhinos are often massacred as part of the international wildlife trade as poachers hope to sell their horns.

Across Africa, more than 9,000 rhinos have been killed by poachers in the last decade.

Rhinos need large habitats through which they can roam, but human activity has forced them to live on smaller and smaller areas of land.

These are amazing creatures. A black rhino has skin that can be as thick as 5cm. White rhinos, despite being the second largest mammal on land, can run 40km/hour.
There are so many incredible facts about rhinos, but one thing is absolutely clear:

We do not want to leave future generations a world without rhinos.
And we don’t have to...

Wishing you a happy World Rhino Day,

Happy National Wildlife Day! // Celebrate with us! >>

Netquette typically refers to emails and, less frequently, texting and Twitter. But all online communication has a need for Netiquette. the following article is the best I have seen.

Is your Zoom Netiquettette lacking?

Updated 8 hours ago

As the pandemic keeps millions around the world at home, video conferencing is taking on a more important role in the workplace. (Zoom, for example, saw daily meeting participants jump from 10 million pre-pandemic, to a peak of over 300 million.) But a few months in, barking dogs and background spouses aren’t cute anymore, etiquette experts warn. Here are some simple rules they suggest to maintain your professional credibility:

  • Don’t be late — if you’re clicking to join the meeting at the exact time your meeting starts, you’re already late.
  • No chewing — a cup of coffee or some water is OK, but don't eat on a video call. Especially crunchy foods.
  • Be present — when you’re multitasking, it’s more obvious than you think.
